Welcome to Osaka Japanese Cuisine in Olive Branch, our Mississippi location open since 2008 and one of the most popular Japanese restaurants in the area. Situated just off Hacks Cross Road, Osaka Olive Branch brings together two completely different ways to experience Japanese food under one roof: the energy and spectacle of live tableside hibachi, and the easy, relaxed pace of our conveyor belt sushi bar. Whether you are here for a big group celebration or a quiet dinner for two, this is a place that can handle both.

The Hibachi Experience

At Osaka Olive Branch, hibachi is the heart of the dining room. Our teppanyaki chefs cook directly at your table, seasoning and grilling each dish in front of you with the kind of skill and personality that makes the meal feel like an event. It is one of the best group dining experiences in North Mississippi and a go-to for birthdays, anniversary dinners, and nights when you want something that goes beyond just eating out.

One thing that sets Osaka apart from other hibachi restaurants: we use real butter at every hibachi table, not oil. It is a small difference with a big impact on flavor, and once you notice it, you will taste it in every dish.

Shabu shabu and conveyor-belt sushi are available exclusively at our Cordova location.Olive Branch features hibachi/teppanyaki and a full sushi menu.
Osaka is open Monday through Thursday from 11 AM to 2:30 PM and 4:30 to 9:30 PM, Friday from 11 AM to 2:30 PM and 4:30 to 10 PM, Saturday from 4:30 to 10 PM only, and Sunday from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM and 4:30 to 9:30 PM. Hours are the same across all three locations in Collierville, Olive Branch, and Cordova.
Hibachi and teppanyaki refer to the same tableside dining experience at Osaka: a chef cooks your meal on a flat iron griddle right in front of you, often with a show of knife skills and flair. Shabu shabu is a hot pot experience where thinly sliced meats and fresh vegetables are cooked at your table in simmering broth. Osaka's Cordova location is the only one that offers shabu shabu; all three locations offer the hibachi/teppanyaki experience.

We are located in Olive Branch off Hacks Cross Road, just south of the Tennessee state line. Parking is available on-site. Reservations are recommended for hibachi tables on weekends and for large groups.
